This year’s theme is Back to the Future: Looking Back, Moving Forward.
This camp is all about where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going. The proposals are in and the schedule is being created…time to sign up for Summer Camp!
Where we’ve been is for those who have been reflective on their own professional practices in teaching, learning, and instructional design and would like to share their experiences. How have you replicated the past with new technologies? What are the trends and trajectory of teaching and learning?
Where we are is for those who are looking at the implications of today’s research on tomorrow’s practice in teaching, research, policy, and instructional design. What instructional design skills are timeless? What are the current issues that instructional designers face?
Where we’re going is for those who can envision where Penn State will be in the future not only with instructional design, but with the evolution of instructional technologies. What will change and what will stay the same? Share what you are doing to future-proof your instructional design skills.
At Summer Camp, we strive to engage participants in active learning and social environments, and we need your help. Put your creativity and knowledge to work and lead a session!
